A hydrangea flower consists of 3-4 stems.
Please do not take the stems apart. They must stay together. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of hydrangeas that you have taken apart.
It is very important that the stems of the hydrangea stay together, because only then will the hydrangea retain its beautiful shape.
Unfortunately, complaints due to or after removal of the adhesive tape on the stems cannot be accepted, as the stems must remain together to maintain their beautiful shape.
This is a natural product, they reflect the natural properties of the product, so there may be color variations. Each product is unique.

No -
If you want to return your dried flowers (including pampas grass), please do not cut your products short, otherwise we will no longer be able to accept them for return.
An example: When returning clothing, it is also necessary that the labels remain on and are not cut into the goods.
Delivery & Shipping
No, due to the package length and width, we unfortunately cannot ship to parcel stations. Unfortunately, our pampas grass deliveries, for example, do not fit into the compartments. As a result, deliveries would take an unnecessarily long time on the way (to the next branch).
For packages that are not picked up/accepted within the time specified by the shipping service provider, we charge a fee of EUR 8.90. The fee reflects the actual costs of shipping, returns, packaging and handling.
Yes, of course. We can ship via UPS or DHL Express if you wish. Please write to us or give us a call - you can find more details on the contact page.
Where buy? Why so expensive?
At Lykke & You you can buy individual dried flowers, a whole dried flower bouquet or dried flower wreaths and arrangements.
We offer many colors, sizes and varieties in different quantities. White dried flowers are particularly popular.
Beautiful dried flowers are also available in the city, but there are usually fewer flowers available, the quantities are smaller (e.g. number of stems) and the prices are higher. We have fair prices and the best customer service.
There are over 75 dried flower shops in Germany where you can buy dried flowers online . These include: Etsy, Amazon, Depot or dried flower specialists such as Lykke & You . We offer our range in the webshop for online ordering, but if you would rather come by south of Mainz, you are very welcome.
For those who prefer to shop in the city: almost every medium to large city has flower shops and florists where you can buy dried flowers.
Cheap dried flowers are more likely to be purchased online than in the city, as florists and flower shops in the city center include their expensive rents in the price of their products.
An example: In the city center of Mainz, a few 10-30 square meters cost up to 7000 euros rent per month.
At Lykke & You, for example, you can buy high-quality dried flowers online conveniently and inexpensively.
Dried flowers can also be bought on Amazon, but the quality is usually inferior, as they are primarily imported from China (so-called "drop shipping" products)
At Lykke & You, our dried flowers come from surrounding European countries such as Italy and Spain .
For those who are particularly thrifty, we have many B-stock dried flowers on offer. These are either customer returns or products that have minimal cosmetic defects.
We consciously avoid excessive discounts and offer fair prices for excellent quality.
There are many ways to buy dried flowers: whether in town at a florist, flower shop or decoration chain (Butlers, Depot etc.) or online at places such as Lykke & You.
We have 150 different dried flowers, over 30 different dried wreaths and over 50 bouquets to choose from. We are also excellently positioned as experts in the area of dried flowers for weddings for brides, bridesmaids, bachelorette parties and wedding guests.
Decide for yourself where you prefer to buy dried flowers. We would of course be delighted to receive your order.
At first glance, dried flowers are more expensive than fresh flowers (Cut flowers). This is because they are more complex to produce. But that is also their biggest advantage: They last a very long time and do not have to be thrown away (and do not wilt).
Dried flowers are planted and harvested like normal flowers. Then there is the "extra" step that makes it a little more expensive. The flowers are dried or preserved to make them last longer. This step is also the biggest advantage of dried flowers over fresh flowers.
Why is that?
Dried flowers last much longer than normal flowers and need to be renewed less often.
Dried or preserved flowers can last between three years and “forever” (with proper care, storage and location).
Care : small dust particles can be blown away or dusted with a cosmetic brush
Storage : Dried flowers can be stored well in a tissue paper and cardboard box.
Location : Keep dried flowers away from water, i.e. please do not place them next to cooking water or a shower.
There are several advantages to buying dried flowers online: there is usually a larger selection , a wider choice of colors and quantities , and cheaper prices than in the city.
Let’s take a closer look at the points.
Assortment : Even though dried flowers are light, they need space and space in the city is expensive (rent for location, etc.). Accordingly, suppliers in the city have a smaller selection. Furthermore, not every dried flower is equally profitable: accordingly, the larger chains are increasingly focusing on the same dried flowers via the same wholesalers and suppliers.
Color and quantity selection: In the city you might get 4-5 different colors of a flower, online you get a lot more. At Lagurus dried flowers, for example, we have 10 colors to choose from in three different sizes. At Depot, for example, you only get one size in the city. This means you have no option to vary the quantity. We usually also have small quantities and bundles at reasonable prices with excellent quality.
Cheaper prices : Depending on where you buy dried flowers online, you can really save money and find good quality at a fair price. But be careful: the prices and quantities are not always easy to compare. For example, some suppliers who sell dried flowers online offer large (sweep) discounts to suggest supposedly cheap prices. The challenge: the quantities (size, number of dried flowers, stems, bunches, fronds, etc.) vary depending on the supplier. If you want to take the time: compare the 100 gram prices or count the stems/bunch: here you will find significant differences.
Finally, there is one more advantage why buying dried flowers in the city can also be a good idea. In the city, you can look at the flowers and take them with you, saving on shipping. At the same time, however, you have to pay for parking, high petrol costs and spend time. But ultimately, there are many ways to achieve your goal.
Dried flowers care instructions
If well cared for, dried flowers retain their natural appearance for several years . They last for a very long time.
Dried flowers love it dry. Dried flowers should be kept in a dry place in your home.
A dried flower is the perfect companion for anyone with a sore thumb.
The most important argument in advance: dried flowers and preserved flowers do not require water.
We often forget to water our plants. That's why we love dried flowers, they don't require any special care and don't need to be intensively cared for or cleaned.
If some dust does accumulate, you can carefully remove it with a brush or hairdryer or shake it off gently.
No, that can be answered briefly. Dried flowers should avoid water, otherwise they will start to mold.
It's best to keep the box after delivery. Because once you've had enough of your dried flowers or you want to redecorate seasonally, you can simply wrap them in tissue paper and store them until the next time.
Dried flowers last forever, so they are perfect for storage.
In our Mix&Match section you can also order various dried flowers in small quantities and use them to decorate a new dried bouquet or dried flower wreath , for example.
That's why our Advent wreath range made from dried flowers is perfect for the Christmas season, because you can store them until the New Year and then simply unpack them again and enjoy them for a long time.
It's best not to place dried flowers directly in the sun.
Direct sunlight on the window can cause the dried flowers to discolor or change their natural appearance and reduce their shelf life because the structure of the dried flowers can be attacked by UV radiation and can therefore change.
In general, dried flowers can also be used in the bathroom , but they should not get wet. You should ventilate well so that moisture does not remain in the room for an unnecessarily long time. This can damage the dried flowers. Pampas grass is best for the bathroom.
Which dried flowers should not be in the bathroom?
Dried flowers such as Lagurus or Phalaris (which have a rather heavy head) are not suitable for the bathroom. They can droop if there is too much moisture.
Preserved dried flowers such as eucalyptus or olive branches should not be used to decorate the bathroom or kitchen.
Dried flowers feel most comfortable at normal room temperature .
Dried flowers are a natural product, so changes can occur after a long period of time.
If your dried flowers that are fluffy are, for example, pampas grass, you can fix them with hairspray, but only after they have been standing for 3 weeks. The fronds need to unfold again first.
Please do not spray any other dried flowers with hairspray.
Pampas grass is definitely one of our all-time favorites, but unfortunately it tends to pill, especially at the beginning. After unpacking, we recommend shaking the dried flowers carefully.
To get a particularly fluffy pampas grass, we recommend not spraying it directly with hairspray.
After transport, the fronds need about 3-4 weeks to fully develop. After that, you can treat the individual Pampas tufts from a distance with hairspray.
Production of dried flowers
Our dried flowers such as eucalyptus, ruscus, olive branches or hydrangeas are preserved for a long time through complex preservation processes.
To put it simply, it can be explained like this: The dried flowers are harvested and placed in a tincture made of water, glycerin and various nutrients.
The absorption of these substances preserves the plant.
The preservation process keeps the flowers supple and prevents them from crumbling, as you may have noticed when drying eucalyptus, for example.
Yes, definitely!
Fresh flowers only delight us for a short time, as they wilt after about a week and have to be thrown away.
In contrast, dried flowers have an impressive shelf life of 1-2 years, often even longer, when properly cared for. This makes dried flowers at least 50 times more durable than fresh cut flowers.
But there are times when you prefer the vibrant freshness and scent of real flowers. For such occasions, our partner, the flower delivery service Rosenbote.de, is the perfect choice. Rosenbote.de delivers beautiful, fresh flowers directly to your home and ensures that you always have the right floral greeting to hand.
No, dried flowers do not need water.
The water was removed from the dried flowers during the drying process to make them last longer so that you can enjoy them for a long time.
So it would be counterproductive (bad) if you put your dried flowers in water, because too much moisture and water can cause them to start to rot.
